The new Lula Magazine is also out to provide girls with joy and happiness! Issue 9 is filled with love for the red-head, with Karen Elson as the guest editor this issue doesn't disappoint. Indulge your inner ginger and get your hands on one! Here's just a little sneak preview:

Plus the new website featuring a beautiful scrapbook to keep spirits high between issues.

Also this is amazing! Ever in the mood for a game of PPQ orientated Pac-Man? Now you can with Pac-Cat!...I could be playing for hours...

I love this song (Karen O and the Kids) and the video. Can't wait for 'Where the Wild things are', to be released in December!

I'm back AND He's done it again!

I have finally got the Internet back, which means a lot of catching up. Believe me we have much to talk about!
Another great thing about the worldwide web, is when some truly amazing bloggers scan beautiful images that I was previously unaware of! Take this Tim Walker and Tim Burton shoot above. Now I have my inspiration on full charge and my purse clasps tightly held in my grasp waiting for the moment when I can purchase such beautiful shoots (in a magazine form of course - too poor over wise!).
What I love about this editorial is Walkers return to large props and impressive styling that has been lacking in recent shoots for I-d and Vogue Italia. The deathly scenes have been contrast with beautiful flower fields, creating a spectacle of beauty and a sense of drama and theater. I can only hope to have an once of talent one day that Tim Walker and his team posses. However I'm not complaining as (in Tim Walkers word) that's a prop(er) size amount!

Thank You

The 'Shelter House of Cards' competition is now closed. Thank you to every one who voted for me. I deeply appreciate it. Although I feel there was a huge amount of fabulous work from fantastic artist, I was pleased to be a part of it and receive more than double votes in favour of 'Love it' rather than the 'Hate it'. Once again thank you to any one for voting and well done to everyone that took part.

I shall soon be back with a quality post! This week has been slightly manic with my 20th and my sisters 18th all within the space of a week!

Word on the Street

Photobucket
If I could name any street I was brought up on, it has to be the Sesame Street. I still remember the daily lunchtime adventures with the whole gang, who over time taught me lessons on cookie munching (who else but the cookie monster), counting sheep to sleep (count Dracula) and to pronounce my 'Z's like an American. As it turns out however my upbringing has taught me well, as my Sesame Street chums have a whole new bunch to contend with. The likes of Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Diane Von Furstenberg, Kate and Laura Mulleavy (Rodarte), Oscar de la Renta, Thakoon Panichgul, Toys and Vera Wang have all taken part in a celebratory photoshoot for Harpers Bazaar to mark the 'Streets' 40th birthday.
Thanks to this lovely surprise the puppets aren't the only one smiling like a Muppet!
